To give people with disabilities an opportunity to participate in mainstream events. The goal of the HOPE and POSSIBILITY is to be inclusive, where able bodied and disabled athletes participate together.

Each year we take a team of extraordinary people who face monumental challenges every day and throw them in amongst 45,000 people to compete alongside, as equals in the New York Marathon. And each year, each and everyone of them come back home ready to give back to the community, by telling their success stories, in the hope that someone else who is not only disabled but able bodied as well, will take up the challenge of whatever life throws at them
