Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
New Zealand has some of the worst bowel cancer statistics in the world. Each year approximately 1200 Kiwis die from bowel cancer-that's more than four times the national road toll!
The good news is with early detection bowel cancer is one of the more curable cancers. 70% of people with bowel cancer can be completely cured if diagnosed in time and treated. Therefore it is vitally important to recognise and look out for possible symptoms and to have symptoms investigated if they persist.
This year our Beat Bowel Cancer Awareness Week is 4-10 June. You can help us promote awareness and reduce the impact of bowel cancer on the New Zealand community by making a donation.
Your donation will enable us to continue printing and distributing our brochures and posters and deliver educational information to interested groups in the community and in the workplace.
To donate is simple, fast and totally secure. Select the 'make a donation' button below. If you live in New Zealand your donation is tax deductible and a receipt will be issued.
For more information please visit our website www.beatbowelcancer.org.nz. Keep up-to-date with all our news by becoming a friend on our Facebook page.
Many thanks for your generous support.Together we can make a difference.
Bowel cancer is detectable, treatable and beatable!
