The Future Leaders Programme is a national leadership development programme for aspirational young leaders who are driven by a desire to make a difference in New Zealand, be it in business, politics, community, the environment, sport or the arts.

The challenges we face as a nation are becoming more and more complex and our young leaders need to develop the ability to think, act and adapt confidently in this environment in order to guide New Zealand effectively. This unique development opportunity offers participants an intensive long-term learning and development process, enabling them to challenge their ideas and perspectives, gain a deeper understanding of their own and others leadership styles, and develop new sustainable practices that enhance their leadership capacity.

Very few opportunities exist which enable emerging leaders to form enduring relationships with other leaders in different industries. The Future Leaders Programme provides this opportunity by creating an environment in which participants can encourage and challenge each other whilst also building relationships to support their development and leadership initiatives beyond the programme.

We would appreciate your contribution towards our scholarship fund to ensure young New Zealanders from a range of geographies, communities, cultural backgrounds, sectors and disciplines have the opportunity to participate in the Future Leaders Programme.

Through our fundraising initiatives, we hope to be able to support more young New Zealanders to enhance their leadership capacity in this unique and exciting development opportunity.
