Running can be mentally tiring so I always find it useful to wear a bib that reminds me how to count!

My friend Mal Law is attempting to do something that has never been done before - to run all 7 NZ mainland 'Great Walks' in 7 consecutive days. That's 360 km of running (the equivalent of 9 back to back marathons) through beautiful but challenging mountain terrain. This is not something that would be much fun alone, so Mal is taking a few people along with him on each run. I will be joining him to run the final leg - the Kepler track - which at 60km is no walk in the park itself!

The Mizone 7in7 Challenge aims to raise NZ$50,000 for the Leukemia & Blood Foundation (see sidebar on right)
