Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I came to New Zealand for a cycling holiday after living two years in Australia and stayed ever since.
I am originally from Finland and my Finnish name is Heikki Kaariainen. Too much a mouthful for English speaking people so I use my pen name Henry Van Campa for this journey.

I am not disabled, that would be self fulfilling prophecy. We all have different abilities and can you repair electronics or communicate with Morse Code. I do not run or climb ladders but I might some day as my recovery progresses.

To keep improving I use my recumbent trike as cycling is good therapy. To keep getting better I need to increase the distances and what is a better way than seeing the country in the process.

So I have started my Bluff to Cape Reinga Journey, but I really need your help to make a difference to my charity.

I have progressed to as far as Putaruru in Waikato.
Unfortunately I got some health issues and because of winter I have paused the journey until I get better to continue.

I am also depressed because of lack of donations. Come on people, you can do better than that.
