Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
My name is Kath McGilbert and I am the Technical Coach for the New Zealand Womens Softball Team. Briefly my role is to video players in game situations and provide them with the video footage to make adjustments. Coaches also use this footage to develop game plans against our opponents.
This year marks the 12th International Softball Federation (ISF) World Series Championship, New Zealand has been represented in this pinnacle event since the first championship.
This year the members of the team are faced with a unique circumstance. Late December 2009 the ISF announced the change in venue for the World Champs from Oklahoma to Venezuela, this move has greatly increased the cost for the team to get there. Given Womens softball is mainly a self funded programme the change in venue has raised the amount of player contribution to $5000.00/
