Dear Friends
We've signed up to row 200,000 meters on rowing machines as our part in a Nationwide 1,000,000 meter Rowathon. The aim is to raise funds for our Surf Life Saving Club - Lyall Bay Surf and Life Saving Club and also raise the awareness of Shaun Quincey's solo row across the Tasman.
To keep track of our progress and for updates also see our website: www.lyallbayslsc.org.nz.
Every summer Surf Life Saving saves over 1,300 lives and prevents another 350,000 people from getting into difficulty. It also encourages ordinary people like Shaun and us to do extraordinary things, to make a difference. we'll do all the hard work, train and compete the 1,000,000 meters but we really need your help to raise funds so our club can continue its great work.
So, please sponsor us?
Select the "Make a donation" button below. It's simple, fast and totally secure and the money goes directly to Surf Life Savings bank account.
If you live in New Zealand your donation is tax deductible and a receipt will be issued.
So please help us today! And pass it on to everyone you know!
Many thanks for your support
PS: Surf Lifeguards spent 195,000 hours on patrol last summer, saving over 1303 lives!!!
