Thanks for visiting Mia's fundraising page.

Mia loves to ski and have been skiing at The Remarkables for many years. In 2010 she was selected for the Adaptive Snowsports Development Team and is learning to put her skiing skills into racing. She has a goal to compete in the Paralympics one day.

Mia lives in Queenstown with her family and attends Wakatipu High School, skiing in winter whenever she can. She is instructed by NZ Lead Adaptive Instructor Ross James, and coached by the NZ Adaptive Development Team coaches.

To develop in her sport Mia needs to purchase her own sit ski, designed to help her race. These are made in the Europe and the US, costing around $7,000.

Mia also requires long term sponsorship. If you are able to support her in her quest, please do so.
