Mike, Rapid (Border Collie) and Ella (Kelpie) are going for a walk for Daffodil Day - 2325km. Starting in Christchurch on 10 August they will visit Kaiapoi, Rangiora, Cheviot, Kaikoura, Blenheim, Nelson, Richmond, Motueka, Murchison, Westport, Punakaiki, Greymouth, Hokitika, Geraldine, Tekapo, Twizel, Wanaka, Queenstown, Cromwell, Alexandra, Gore, Invercargill, Mataura, Clinton, Balclutha, Milton, Mosgiel, Dunedin, Oamaru, Waimate, Timaru and Ashburton before arriving back in Christchurch on 17 October 2011.

Mike is being helped on the walk by National Bank of New Zealand, Bluebridge Ferry, Abell Rentals and Mountain Designs. Ella and Rapid are being fed by Mighty Mix (www.mightymix.co.nz).

My fundraising target is $10 for every kilometre walked. To help me meet this you could give:

10c per kilometre = 232.50
5c per kilometre = 116.25
1c per kilometre = 23.25
