Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

In an effort to do something a little different as a fundaraiser. I am competing in two half ironman events over consecutive weekends. The first being Taupo Half on the 10th of December, followed by the Rotorua Half on the 17th of December.

I'll do all the hard work; train for and complete these events, but I really need your help to make a difference to my charity.

My goal is to raise $226 for Autism NZ, although anything would be greatly appreciated. Basically, each race consists of 2km swim, 90km bike and 21km run, therefore 113km for each race. I've signed up to do two, therefore 113 x 2 = 226km. So my goal represents $1 for each kilometre covered.

Things have got off to such a great start fundraising wise i have decided to increase the target to make things really ambitious. New target is now $678.00, this represents $3 per kilometre covered.

Why Autism? Our eldest son was diagnosed this year as being on the Autism spectrum. We have received some great information and resources from Autism NZ, as well as our local parent to parent support group. So this is an attempt to give something back to an organisation that does so much for families of children with Autism.
