2 friends, 2 bikes, 1 route, 47 days!
Thanks for visiting the North 2 South Expedition fundraising page.
From 28 November 2012 to 13 January 2013 two amazingly inspiring young people - Shaya Laughlin (17) and Jeremy Basset (19) will embark on a journey of adventure, endurance and friendship as they cycle the whole length of New Zealand from Cape Reinga to Bluff without assistance.
The North2South Expedition has an aim to raise money for two projects:
- Sir Peter Blake Trust, New Zealand - Save Our SeaTurtles, Australia
The 2257km route will take them through New Zealand’s most stunning scenery. On the way, Shaya and Jeremy will take part in regular beach clean-ups and share their experiences via social media to inspire youth to take positive social and environmental action while following their dreams.

As Sir Peter Blake showed New Zealand, there are leaders and there are dreamers. Leaders make things happen. Dreamers have a vision. The truly special people do both.
The Sir Peter Blake Trust is a not for profit organisation and depends on sponsorship and donations to run its programmes. Your support is greatly appreciated and will enable us to continue to inspire and encourage the leaders, adventurers and environmental stewards of tomorrow.
All donations are gratefully received and go towards supporting our wide range of programmes at the Sir Peter Blake Trust, from the Antarctic Youth Ambassador through to Leadership Week, your donation is helping to shape our nation.
Select the 'Make a donation' button below. It's simple, fast and totally secure.
If you live in New Zealand your donation is tax deductible and a receipt will be issued.
So please get behind Shaya and Jeremy, show your support for the huge effort they are putting in!
