"Paint the World Red and Black” for the physiotherapists in Christchurch. On 25th March, 2011 we are asking physiotherapists and their patients/clients from New Zealand and around the world to join us in showing support to the physiotherapists in Christchurch whose lives have been affected by the terrible earthquake on 22nd February.

You can dress in red and black (the colours of Canterbury). Provide clients with some red and black treats. Put a red collection bucket in your reception and ask your clients and visitors to give generously for the physiotherapists in Christchurch.

Or just donate! Encourage your friends and family to donate too!

We will use this money to support the physiotherapists who are rehabilitating quake victims. If you are a physiotherapist or if you have received treatment from a physiotherapist you will know that we are a group of hard-working and caring health professionals. Many of the physiotherapy clinics in Christchurch opened the week after the big quake in spite of losing businesses, income and homes in many cases. Many have been part of the volunteer health workforce during the emergency.
