Hi there to my friends, family, workmates and fans,

I'm shaving my lid for a brave kid!
The more I tell people, the more I'm getting used to the idea - and now I have to, I'm registered! No backing out.

All I do is think of the children who don't have a choice, those brave kids going through so much. Having kids of my own, I really feel for the families. This is the least I can do.

I’ll be shaving my lid on 11 November at 8pm, JR's Club, Ohakea. Come down and watch, it’ll be heaps of fun! We are planning a huge event... more details to come.

3 November -
I promised a workmate a couple of weeks ago that if I reach my goal of $1,000 I will SHAVE it all off - not just a number 4. So please help me get to my goal so you can see my bald head.

BACKGROUND
More than three children on average per week in New Zealand are diagnosed with cancer. Each year New Zealand children with cancer collectively undergo an astounding 75,000 treatments and procedures throughout their journey. For each one they receive a Bead of Courage… The Child Cancer Foundation is committed to supporting children with cancer and their families from the time of diagnosis, throughout their journey of treatments and subsequently the transition back into the community.

By shaving my lid for a brave kid, I’m helping raise the $3 million required each year for child and family support services. I’m passionate about the cause and willing to lose my locks to prove it!
