The Cornwall Cricket Club are back at it again. In association with sponsor SIGNATURE SECURITY, We are aiming to reclaim the World Record for the longest continuous game of cricket.
In April 2008, we set out on the Drive for 55. Cricket was played, without stopping, for 55 straight hours and a new Guinness World Record was achieved. Along the way we raised nearly $6000 for the Starship Foundation.

In January 2009,a bunch of Ozzies extended the record out to 66 hours.

Not to be outdone,and this time with members of the Ellerslie Cricket Club, We are now going to play continuous,non stop cricket ,for 100 hours ! We start on Sunday January 3 2010 and play all through 4 days and 4 nights , and do not stop until Thursday January 7 2010 !

This year,We hope to raise in excess of $15,000 for Starship but cannot do it without the help of all of New Zealand
Please give whatever you can to help us achieve our goal. If you are unable to donate financially, please come down to the ground and help us get through the long hard slog.
Last time we played through 2 nights of wind and rain, this time it will be 4 nights and we hope the weather is a little kinder to us. Either way, we will be there - so come and keep us company if you can !

There will be 24 people going all out to get this record and by donating just $50 to the cause, that is sponsoring us 50cents per hour that we play - thats the worst hourly rate you are ever going to see ! :-)
