AaronMan's back for Ironman NZ 2011!

Am I insane? 3.8km swim, 180km cycle, 42.2km run
In 2006 I tackled Ironman for the first time for Breath4CF. Since then I've completed two further Ironman events including Ironman USA and each time helping New Zealander's with CF has been by motivation.

Ironman NZ 2011 will be no different. Over 12 months of blood, sweat and tears (and there will be plenty of all three) I will be using my breath for CF.

After serious lung surgery as a teen that should have left me unable to exert myself physically ever again, I'm back for my fourth Ironman. And it's a great feeling. It's emotional, it's special.

Through Ironman and the selling of my book 'Purpose' I've fundraised for Breath4CF. I've met the most amazing people, have made some amazing friends, and I'm hoping with Ironman NZ 2011 to take my total tally fundraised for Breath4CF to $30k. I'm about $6500 away at the moment. Please help me get there.

I've seen the HUGE difference this money is making. It's changing lives, it's saving lives, and it's putting smiles on faces. So thanks for your support - I COULD NOT achieve this without you.

Ironman NZ 2011 will once again be a massive personal challenge for me. It will be four years between Ironman events - but I have wonderful support and I will be back at Lake Taupo to give it another crack.
