We are two Mums who have been personally affected by the diagnosis of a life threatening illness in our children.

The beautiful and sweet Kyah passed away just 9 days short of her third birthday from Neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of cancer.

The handsome Liam lost his Dad to a brain tumour, then two years later, at the age of just 7, Liam had to undergo life saving surgery to remove a rare cancerous tumour from his maxillary sinus.

It is due to the dedication and research of doctors that Kyah remained with us for the length of time she did, and that Liam is still with us today. Over the last 30 years Cure Kids has dedicated millions of dollars to funding all types of life saving medical research.

We want to help Cure Kids raise money to hopefully prevent any parent, and more especially any children, from walking our journey in the future.

This 'race' involves us leaving Queenstown with just $10 in our pockets and attempting to get to Auckland in the space of three days. We will be completing several challenges along the way and hoping to be the first team home!

Please help us raise as much as we can to support this fantastic cause.
