The Big Busk 2011 is here!!
The Big Busk is part of New Zealand Music Month and is a chance to showcase creative and musical talents during May while supporting children with cancer and their families.
Well known artists will take to the streets for child cancer throughout New Zealand on Friday May 20th to support The Child Cancer Foundation’s first Big Busk.
The established musicians will also be joined on the 20th by a variety of school groups and other music-minded Kiwis keen to showcase their talents and support a great cause. Musicians and entertainers will also have the chance to Busk throughout the month of May and take part in the $500 Bucket challenge.
The children of the Child Cancer Foundation support are on a challenging journey. Did you know for example that New Zealand children with cancer collectively undergo 75,000 treatments and procedures each year?
Getting involved is easy! To get started, simply register your interest with Ana Christmas at thebigbusk@childcancer.org.nz Ana will be able to provide you will all the information you need.
Once registered the next step is to gather sponsors and supporters to help you reach your fundraising goal.
