Disabled Snowsports New Zealand
Disabled Snowsports New Zealand is totally funded by voluntary donations and grants – we rely on people like you to make our work possible. Donations are used to purchase new equipment (for example, a sit ski costs approximately $5000), subsidise events, provide more adaptive training to instructors and volunteers and help to underwrite the cost of running our programmes - in short - to be a World Class provider of adaptive snowsports.
What your money really buys is freedom – freedom to be on the mountain on a clear crisp winter’s morning, feeling the adrenaline rush that comes with carving up the snow and the pleasure of enjoying a day out with friends. The sense of achievement and empowerment that skiing and snowboarding provide for people with disabilities just cannot be beaten.
Whether you want to run a race, do another kind of sponsored event, or just donate direct, we’d love to have your support. You can be sure that your generosity has enabled somebody to “Come riding, Get Going….!”
