Geeks go LOUD!!!
Geeks on Wheels are going LOUD to help deaf children listen and speak by taking part in Loud Shirt Day!
Thanks for supporting us in our bid to raise money for Loud Shirt Day. Our whole team will be hard to miss in their Loud Shirts!!
Money we raise on Loud Shirt Day – Friday, September 16, 2011 – will change the lives of deaf children forever.
That’s because deaf children with cochlear implants or hearing aids need specialised therapy to help them interpret sound and then to learn how to speak. The two charities involved – The Hearing House and Southern Cochlear Implant Paediatric Programme - provide that therapy and other support, such as counselling and hearing tests, free of charge to deaf kids around NZ.
