Celebrating 21 years of supporting sick children in New Zealand!!

KIDS Foundation was formed in 1989 to support NZ children affected by Primary immune deficiency disorders (PID). In the last 10 years this has extended to Liver and Bowel Transplant children.

You too can help KIDS Foundation to deliver support services to these medically fragile children and their families by making a donation online.

Long term hospital stays are very hard on our sick children .Being unwell, undergoing invasive medical procedures and being isolated from friends and family requires deep reserves of courage and stamina.

The KIDS Foundation is able to provide a support worker to visit these families in hospital,assess the family for special needs assistance, and offer support and information.

The Foundation also provides a small gift to cheer the sick child and lift their spirits.Bringing a ray of sunshine into the life of a sick child.

Other initiatives are:
- respite homes across New Zealand,
-events for children and families affected by these conditions,
- special shows for the wider community of chronically ill , disabled and disadvantaged children .
