Hi there to my friends, family, and fans,
It's that time of year when one of our family steps up and gets a very close shave in aid of the Child Cancer Foundation in gratitude for all that they have done for us over the years since my little sister Lowri was diagnosed with Wilms' Tumour (kidney cancer) - this year I drew the short straw (or should that be short hair) again.
<---- Just for the record the head that is being used as the Funrazor picture - the one on the left there with the smiley face - is my mate Rik who took part in Funrazor last year.
The Child Cancer Foundation funrazor will be held at 22 locations around NZ on 4th December 2008.
Ill be shaving my lid on 4th December at
5pm at Cnr Customs & Queen Streets (outside Westfield Downtown), Auckland - come down and watch, it'll be heaps of fun!
Every year on average 150 Kiwi kids are diagnosed with cancer, which means that there are lots of children and families requiring special support and assistance. The Child Cancer Foundation believes that no child suffering from cancer, or their family, should ever feel alone.
By shaving my lid for a brave kid, I'm helping us to raise money for support and services for children and families affected by childhood cancer. I'm passionate about the cause and willing to lose my locks to prove it!
