You may be aware that in 2007 Livingstones adopted Cure Kids as its major charity to receive company support. Our commitment to Cure Kids continues.

As part of our support of Cure Kids in 2008 Livingstones entered a team into the Cure Kids Great Adventure Race and will do so again this year. The race in Queenstown on 7 March 2009 will again take between six to ten hours to complete and includes four disciplines, run/trek, mountain bike, traversing of waterways and navigation/route finding.

Last year our team came second in the event and Livingstones along with our support partners raised $18,500 making us the third largest fundraiser for the event.

We are pleased to advise for 2009 we have a new team entered being, the runners - Gary Sellars, Andrew Barclay, Thomas Stuart and Liz Kitto who will be supported by Celia Folley, Choon Seow, Michael Connolly, Kelly Young, Kiri Thomson, Graham Joseph and Jayne Wilson.

Livingstones and the team are meeting the event costs and Livingstones is donating $5,000 to Cure Kids to participate in the event but we need your help to raise additional funds to meet our goal of raising in excess of $15,000.

Any support that can be given to this outstanding cause is much appreciated.
