Our Great Escape – Australian Desert Expedition 2010 |

On May 1st 2010, along with Doug Rikard-Bell and 10 other friends, I am embarking on an 18-day adventure across the center of Australia, from Sydney to Broome.
We are crossing 8 deserts where fuel shortages, deep sand, dehydration, crocodiles and river crossings will be just some of the challenges our expedition will encounter.
Apart from our indulgent quest for adventure, we are enthusiastically raising money for Cure Kids to assist a medical student through their PhD and internship on the Cure Kids research team.
We have already raised over $25,000 with our activities at Deus Ex Machina Auckland. We now have a goal of $100,000.
