Hair!

Hi there to my friends, family, workmates and fans,

You all know how attached I am to my hair, but it's time for it to go.

I’ll be shaving my head on 15 July, somewhere in San Francisco. For the folks not in SF, I will try and get a live stream going.

More than three children on average per week in New Zealand are diagnosed with cancer. Each year New Zealand children with cancer collectively undergo an astounding 100,000 treatments and procedures throughout their journey. For each one they receive a Bead of Courage… The Child Cancer Foundation is committed to supporting children with cancer and their families from the time of diagnosis, throughout their journey of treatments and subsequently the transition back into the community.

By shaving my lid for a brave kid, I’m helping raise the $5 million required each year for child and family support services. I’m passionate about the cause and willing to lose my locks to prove it! I will also donate my hair to http://www.locksoflove.org/ to help out the kids in San Francisco, too.
