A big thanks to everyone that joined us for dinner last Friday, I hope everyone enjoyed their night as much as I did and enjoyed Jamie Fitzgerald and our wrap up of the bike tour. Thanks for the laughs, donations and all the other support you have given us.

Hi all,

This tour is raising sponsorship and awareness for the great chariy of Cure Kids. Myself (Brendon Dallas) and Ben Scully are cycling the length of New Zealand from Cape Reinga to the Bluff in 20 days.

The tour starts in December 2008,is 2300kms long and covers all extremes of the country raising funds and awareness for Cure Kids. We can't wait for the tour to begin and are passoinate about making it a success. Every donation you make can make a huge difference to a young childs life so please if you think the tour is worth while please get on board become a sponser and make a difference.

Cure Kids is a Child Health Research Foundation established to address the lack of research into life-threatening childhood illness in New Zealand. As a result of their work hundreds of young lives have been saved and a countless number of young people have a better quality of life.

Their dedication has helped lead research in areas such as:
Asthma
Childhood Leukemia
Childhood Diabetes
Cystic Fybrosis
Cot death preventative strategies
Respiratory illnesses
Rheumatic Fever
Spina Bifida
Liver Disease
To name a few but the list goes on.

Cure Kids need our help to continue to save many more young lives from these diseases. So we ask for your support to sponsor us on the Tour for Cure Kids together we can make a huge difference to the lives of many young New Zealanders, every cent you donate goes straight to Cure Kids.

19th July

As you may have heard, me and Ben Scully were riding from Auckland to Wellington training for our next event. At 4am Sat 18th July someone hit both of us with their car south of the Bombay Hills in Auckland. We both went to hospital, Ben has been discharged but I am still in hospital under observation.
